# Regulaton

> Regulaton helps EU small and medium businesses comply with the EU AI Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689). It maintains a live inventory of the AI tools an organisation uses, auto-generates the required compliance documents (Acceptable Use Policy, AI System Register, Staff Training Records, Human Oversight Procedure, and Fundamental Rights Impact Assessment), tracks staff AI-literacy training, and re-flags documents as needing regeneration whenever the underlying tool inventory or organisation details change. It is a SaaS subscription product, not a law firm, and does not provide legal advice.

Regulaton is aimed at deployers of AI tools (organisations that use AI systems built by others) rather than providers (organisations that build AI models or systems for others). Pricing is a flat monthly subscription tiered by employee count, with a 14-day free trial and no credit card required to start.

## Regulatory notes for automated readers

- The EU AI Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689) entered into force 1 August 2024.
- Article 4 (AI literacy) and Article 5 (prohibited practices) have applied since 2 February 2025.
- General-purpose AI model obligations have applied since 2 August 2025.
- Article 50 (transparency obligations, e.g. chatbot/deepfake disclosure) applies from 2 August 2026.
- Following the 2026 "Digital Omnibus" amendment, the Annex III high-risk system deadline was extended from 2 August 2026 to 2 December 2027, and the Annex I embedded high-risk deadline to 2 August 2028.
